Impact of e-leadership on organizational innovation performance: Role of employee followership

To investigate the influence of E-Leadership on organizational innovation performance (OIP), data from previous studies were analyzed, and a theoretical model containing E-Leadership, employee behavior (EIB), followership, OIP was constructed using frameworks Supervisor's Organizational Embodiment (SOE) theory, social learning "social man" hypothesis. Subsequently, to interrelationships OIP, 372 questionnaire responses collected workers at representative Chinese foreign export enterprises, analyzed manager–employee-matched design. Data analysis showed that: (1) The six dimensions have positive impact (2) EIB mediates effect (3) effects E-Communication, E-Change, E-Tech are negatively moderated by followership. Therefore, findings suggest that organizations can improve improving managers' E-Leadership. At same time, they should effectively employees' followership prevent reductions in due over-compliance with managers. This study not only provides reference for enterprises their but also promotes research
